BAKONG CIRCULAR DESIGN CHALLENGE

Bakong Circular Design Challenge is led by Design Center of the Philippines. It is an opportunity for Filipino designers, innovators, professionals and students to explore and create solution-based design with the Bakong material. The challenge is open to individuals, pairs or a team of 3.

Building from the four pillars of the Bakong project: Circularity, Innovation, Culture and Femininity, each individual/pair/team must submit an initial design idea for the Bakong material. Ten finalists will be chosen and will take part in a two-day Circular Design Challenge workshop.

Three winners will be awarded with the ff: cash prize, technical assistance from DTI - Fabrication Lab (FabLab) for prototyping and a chance to showcase in the first ever Sustainability Solutions Expo on 18-20 November 2021.
